All schools in the Ceres Unified School District will observe Winter Break from Thursday, Dec. 22 through Monday, Jan. 9. Students will return on Tuesday, Jan. 10. ⛄️

Our Gators had a special treat from Central Valley High School. The Production 1, 2 and Impulse Dance Team performed for us. They did an amazing job and our gators loved it! Thank you so much.

Our Annual event Cookies with Santa was a jolly success. Thank you all for coming to Adkison and celebrating these holidays with us. Santa had a lot of pictures with our families and families had a lot of creativity decorating cookies.

Today, Ceres Police Department received a call regarding a possible intruder outside Central Valley High School. The school was placed on lockdown, law enforcement immediately responded and the individual was detained. Students and staff are safe. An investigation has revealed that there was no threat to the school. Again, students and staff are safe and there is no threat to the school.

Santa came early at South Modesto Business United's 13th Annual Christmas #Posada, bringing free hot chocolate, tamales, pan dulce, pictures with Santa, food baskets, and gifts for children. We 👀 familiar faces including Adkison and Walter White Elementary students, Superintendent Denise Wickham, and County Supervisor Channce Condit. 👋☕️🎅🎁 CUSD Trustee Cynthia Ruiz is a longtime supporter of this nonprofit organization focused on community improvement. Thank you, Trustee Ruiz, S.M.B.U., and event sponsors! #OurCeresCommunity #CeresLearns

Another outstanding turnout at our #TownHall meeting on #Cyberbullying and Social Media Use. Thank you to everyone who had a part in discussing this important topic – CUSD families, staff, and community partners. #CeresLearns

Singsational lived up to its name! After an incredible evening of performances by fourth-grade, junior high, and high school choirs and a combined finale, we heard families singing all the way to their cars! 🎵🎶
Singsational is a long-standing tradition in CUSD, reminding us of the importance of the performing arts in education. Thank you to our incredible team of music teachers, all of the students who performed, families who attended or watched from home, and our amazing classified staff without whose support Singsational would not be possible. If you missed the live performances, see the livestream at https://youtu.be/klwjTqggwMI. And check out more pics on CUSD's Facebook page!

What an honor to celebrate 67 CUSD parents who graduated from the Families Acting Towards Results (FACTOR) program! Two 5-week programs were open to all CUSD families and held at Westport Elementary (focus on college readiness) and M. Robert Adkison Elementary (focus on emotional development and technology). Way to support student success! 🙌 #FACTOR #CeresLearns
