Adkison Elementary School opened during the 2005–2006 school year. Adkison Elementary serves over 640 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Adkison Elementary School was named after M. Robert Adkison, former superintendent of Ceres Unified School District. Students are proud that Adkison Elementary is home to the Adkison Gators. Adkison Elementary is a tobacco-free school.
